Tom Ryan Jr. was born and raised in Inverness. He is an award winning author of several books for young readers, including the International Thriller Award nominee Keep This to Yourself. He also has an extensive background in film, most notably his 2007 stop-motion animation “A Cape Breton Ghost Story” which played in competition at several international festivals.
Jenny” is the tale of a family who rent a house in the Cape Breton countryside for a summer getaway, but get more than they bargain for when a mysterious young stranger appears, looking to make friends.
